Zenderin sävykäs Winterreise orkestrointi avaa Schubertin klassikon uudeksi, pysäyttäväksi elämykseksi. Laulusarja kertoo hylätyksi tulleen rakastetun yksinäisestä ja lohduttomasta vaelluksesta halki talvisen maiseman. Matka on symbolinen ja psykologinen laskeutuminen kohti mielen syvää epätoivoa, vieraantumista ja lopulta täydellistä tyhjyyttä. Talvisella matkalla mukana kaupunginorkesterin lisäksi ovat ylikapellimestarimme Jukka Untamala sekä tenori Tuomas Katajala.

Konsertin kesto on noin 2 tuntia, sisältäen väliajan.

Meet & Greet ‑tilaisuus Carelian aulassa klo 17.15.

Joensuun konservatorion Pikkupreludit Carelian aulassa klo 17.30.
