Konstantinos Vallios johtaa illan, jossa nuoret kyvyt ja vahvat musiikilliset visiot nousevat etualalle. Konsertti avautuu Ildebrando Pizettin vaikuttavilla Tre preludii sinfonici sävellyksillä Sofokleen Oidipusta varten. Alttoviulisti Julie Svacinová loistaa Benjamin Brittenin syvällisessä ja tummasävyisessä Lachrymae-teoksessa. Illan päättää Mozartin mestarillinen Sinfonia nro 38 “Praha”, jonka kirkas energia ja sinfoninen loisto huipentavat kokonaisuuden. Konsertti on kapellimestari Konstantinos Vallioksen diplomikonsertti, joka toteutetaan yhteistyössä Sibelius Akatemian kanssa.

Konsertin kesto on noin 1 tunti 40 minuuttia, sisältäen väliajan.

Avoin kenraaliharjoitus konserttipäivänä klo 11 Carelia-salissa.

Meet & Greet ‑tilaisuus Carelian aulassa klo 17.15.
