Ylikapellimestarimme Jukka Untamalan johdolla kuultava ilta yhdistää romanttista hehkua ja modernia sähinää. Pianisti Janne Mertanen loistaa Chopinin toisen pianokonserton runollisessa maailmassa, jota kehystävät Helvi Leiviskän lyyrinen Intermezzo sekä Stravinskyn virtuoosinen ja eläväinen Pulcinella-sarja. Konsertin päättää Anna Clynen rytminen ja energinen PIVOT, joka vie kuulijan suoraan nykymusiikin sykkeeseen. Tästä ei enää pivot parane!

Konsertin kesto on noin 1 tunti 40 minuuttia, sisältäen väliajan.
